Wildcats storm past Vikings

The Wildcats built a 14-point halftime lead on the way to a PTC County Division win that clinched second place in the division for visiting Mogadore.

The Wildcats (16-3, 11-2) grabbed a 15-11 first-quarter lead, then outscored Waterloo (3-17, 2-11) 25-15 in the second quarter to push the lead to 40-26 at intermission.

Mogadore then finished off the Vikings with a 15-7 scoring run in the third period.

The Wildcats hit eight 3-pointers for the game. Hunter Van Camp hit a pair of 3s and led Mogadore with 19 points, while Austin Mahoney buried a trio of 3-pointers to finish with 18 points.

Dale Miller had 13 points and seven rebounds to pace Waterloo, while Austin Bozak canned four 3s and finished with 12 tallies.
