Portage County basketball alumni unite for fundraiser

Record-Courier staff report

Basketball alumni from Garfield, Rootstown, Waterloo and Windham will convene on Friday night in a fundraising event for Widham's Renaissance Family Center, which is a community outreach facility that offers a variety of services, including education, clothing, food and fellowship.

The collection of former high school standouts will play four games at Windham High School's Marty Hill Court. The doors open to the public at 4:30 p.m. Tickets at the door will cost $7, with children 4 and under admitted for free.

Schedule of Games

• 6 p.m.: Garfield vs. Windham

• 7:10 p.m.: Rootstown vs. Waterloo

• 8:15 p.m.: Consolation game

• 9:05 p.m.: Championship game
