Record-Courier staff report
Four Portage County girls basketball teams are set to take to the hardwood for games that will act as fundraisers.
On Friday, Windham will play at Southeast in a JV and varsity contest that will donate all proceeds to the "No Child Without a Gift" foundation. The local charity provides gifts over the holiday season to needy children around the county. The tickets for the game are $5 for adults and $3 for students. The Windham-Southeast game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. JV and 7 p.m. varsity start.
On Monday, Kent Roosevelt will host Mogadore in the 5th annual Multiple Sclerosis Charity Game.
Over the previous four years, the game has raised over $3,000. All proceeds from the game benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Buckeye Chapter. Presale tickets are $5 and $10 on the night of the game. Game times are set for 6 p.m. JV and 7:30 p.m. varsity. Anyone interested in presale tickets can contact Kent Roosevelt girls basketball head coach Craig Foreman by email at email@example.com.
