Due to the recent winter weather that has wreaked havoc on area high school sports schedules, the Kent Roosevelt girls basketball team’s second annual Hattie Larlham Center recognition game has been rescheduled for tonight against Akron Garfield.

Tipoff for the varsity game is slated for 7:30 p.m. in the Roosevelt gymnasium.

Workers from Mantua-based Hattie Larlham will be present at tonight’s game, as will four of the residents, who will be announced as honorary starters for the Rough Riders-Golden Rams contest.

The Rough Riders’ Hattie Larlham recognition game is a culmination of the time the Roosevelt players spend with the residents on Thursday nights throughout the basketball season.
