Kent State's men's basketball team will close the 2013-14 regular season in front of a national television audience, as it was announced Tuesday that the Golden Flashes' contest at the Akron on Friday, March 7, will be televised on ESPN2.

The 7 p.m. contest at James A. Rhodes Arena was chosen as the Mid-American Conference's wildcard selection for the final weekend of the regular season.

The MAC's biggest hardwood rivalry will be televised for the 27th consecutive time, which is the longest streak in the conference.
