Kent State's Kris Brewer named Honorable Mention All-MAC

Kent State junior guard Kris Brewer was the only Golden Flashes player to be named All-Mid-American Conference on Monday.

Brewer was named to the Honorable mention team as voted by the MAC's 12 head coaches.

Brewer played in all 31 games for the Flashes and made 26 starts. He averaged 11.7 points and 2.9 assists per game for KSU (16-16, 7-12 MAC).

In conference play, Brewer led the MAC with a 1.9 assist-to-turnover ratio and averaged 11.6 points, 3.4 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game.

With Brewer's Honorable Mention selection, Kent State's run of six consecutive years with a player named to the five-member First Team comes to an end. The Flashes entered the season with the longest active streak in the conference.
