Windham's Isler named First Team All-Ohio

By the end of the 2013-14 season, Windham junior point guard Jessica Isler was recognized as one of the best players in the Northeastern Athletic Conference and in Portage County.

On Tuesday, she was honored as one of the best Division IV players in all of Ohio.

Isler was named to the Division IV All-Ohio First Team. The 5-foot-9 standout averaged 21.4 points per game this season -- one in which she topped the 1,000-point milestone and also scored a single-game career-high 41 points.

Joining her on the Division IV All-Ohio team was teammate Dari Heller, another junior that averaged 16.1 points this season, who was named to the Honorable Mention list.

A pair of Mogadore players were also recognized on Tuesday, led by senior guard Ashley Barker.

Barker, who also reached the 1,000-point plateau this season, was named to the Special Mention team in Division IV. Barker finished the season with 17.2 points per game. Wildcats senior Grace Reilly was also honored as an Honorable Mention performer after averaging 12.4 points this season.

In Division III, the Portage Trail Conference had just one honoree in Rootstown junior Casey Miracle. Miracle was named to the Honorable Mention team. She averaged 15.0 points per game this season.
