Southeast's Krych, Ravenna's Dukes lead Division II All-Ohio team for PTC

Southeast's Jordan Krych and Ravenna's Ty-Shawn Dukes highlighted the Division II All-Ohio boys basketball team that was released by the Associated Press on Monday.

There were no Division I players in the Portage Trail Conference recognized in Division I.

Joining Krych and Dukes in Division II honors was Norton's Justin Blanks (20 points per game). All three players are seniors.

Of the three PTC standouts, Krych received the highest ranking as a member of the Division II Special Mention team. Krych finished the season with averages of 17.5 points, seven rebounds and four assists per game for the Pirates.

Krych, 6-foot, was also named First Team All-Northeast Inland District.

The 6-2 Dukes was the go-to guy for the Ravens this season and was one of the league's most athletic players. He averaged 17.5 points per game this season, while also grabbing eight rebounds and dishing three assists per game.

The All-Ohio teams for Division III and IV will be released in the Wednesday edition of the Record-Courier.
