Kent State wrestler Ian Miller reaches All-American status

OKLAHOMA CITY -- For the sixth consecutive season, the Kent State wrestling program has an All-American.

This year, that special feat was accomplished by sophomore 157-pounder Ian Miller, who advanced to the semifinal round of the NCAA Championships with a 6-2 decision over Wisconsin's Isaac Jordan on Friday inside Chesapeake Energy Center.

Miller (30-5) went on to lose in his semifinal match to Minnesota's Dylan Ness in a 6-4 decision.

Fellow KSU sophomore Michael DePalma went 1-1 on Friday and 2-2 in the tourney for the Flashes, finishing the season with 26 victories.
