KSU baseball tops Miami 4-2
Eric Lauer delivered 623 innings of quality pitching to help lead the Golden Flashes to a 4-2 victory over the RedHawks on Friday at Schoonover Stadium in Kent.
"It was another great outing by Eric Lauer," said KSU coach Jeff Duncan. "He's been phenomenal all year. He was dominating. I know the offense, the defense, everyone feels comfortable with him on the mound."
Kent State was able to break the 2-2 tie with two runs in the eighth. Jon Wilson singled and scored the go-ahead run on a sacrifice bunt by Alex Miklos.
