AKRON -- Three Akron pitchers combined on a two-hitter as the RubberDucks downed the Altoona Curve 2-0 on Saturday night at Canal Park.

Akron starter Joseph Colon was virtually unhittable in improving his record to 2-2 on the season. Colon pitched six innings, allowing just one hit against three walks and two strikeouts to get the win.

Tyler Sturdevant pitched two innings of one-hit ball, while Kyle Crockett came on in the ninth, walking one and striking out one to record his sixth save of the season.

The RubberDucks broke a scoreless tie in the fourth when catcher Alex Lavisky hit a two-out RBI single to plate Mel Rojas for a 1-0 lead.

The Ducks added an insurance run the next inning on first baseman Bryan LaHair's run-scoring single that plated Francisco Lindor.
