Four Kent State baseball players earned All-Mid-American Conference honors for the 2014 season. Junior centerfielder Alex Miklos and sophomore designated hitter Zarley Zalewski were named to the First Team, while senior right fielder T.J. Sutton and senior relief pitcher Michael Clark were Second Team honorees.

Miklos batted .362 in 46 games and .450 in conference contests before he was sidelined for the season due to a knee injury suffered on May 3 against Northern Illinois. He also leads KSU with 18 doubles, seven triples, a .593 slugging percentage, a .439 on-base percentage and 17 stolen bases despite missing the past eight games after suffering the injury.

Zalewski batted .362 during the regular season with 15 doubles and 36 RBI.

Sutton turned it on late in the year, lifting his average to .320 with 12 doubles, two triples and two home runs. Clark (3-1) has a miniscule 1.24 ERA in his senior season in 15 appearances, striking out 41 batters in just 43.2 innings of work.

The Golden Flashes have had four or more All-MAC players every season dating back to 2008.
