Record-Courier staff report

Season tickets for the upcoming 2014 Kent State football season will go on sale on Monday.

The Golden Flashes will play six games at Dix Stadium this season and packages can be purchased for as low as $10 per game. Chairbacks, at $96, and general admission packages, at $60, both include a season-long parking pass at a $30 value.

Season ticket holders will also be given an exclusive opportunity to purchase tickets for KSU's road game at Ohio Stadium against the Ohio State Buckeyes on Sept. 13.

As an incentive, new season ticket holders will be given a chance to win a trip with the team to the University of Virginia for the Sept. 27 game in Charlottesville.

Other perks for season-ticket holders include merchandise discounts and a special invitation to an appreciation event prior to the season.

Kent State finished the 2013 season with a 4-6 record under first-year head coach Paul Haynes.

Season ticket packages can be purchased by calling 330-672-2244.
