The Ravens’ 4x100 relay team narrowly missed a berth to the state championships, placing fifth, but did set a new personal record with a time of 49.67. The relay team includes Ja’Lynn Starks, Sarah Long, Jazmane Preston and Robinson.
Kent Roosevelt standout Katie Morsefield qualified for Columbus in the 100-meter hurdles and not the long jump as first reported in the R-C in Saturday’s edition. Morsefield placed fourth in the 100 hurdles (15.43). She had also qualified for the regional competition in the 300 hurdles and long jump, but failed to advance in those events after placing sixth and seventh, respectively.
