AKRON -- Cleveland Indians first baseman Nick Swisher went 3-for-4 on the night as he continues a rehab assignment with the Akron RubberDucks, doubling twice and driving in two runs in Akron's 12-6 loss to Binghamton on Wednesday night at Canal Park.

Binghamton's Brian Burgamy homered twice and drove in seven runs for the Mets. Trailing 2-1 after one inning, Binghamton scored three runs in the top of the second, three in the sixth and four in the eighth to take a commanding 11-2 lead.

Swisher's two-run double in the first inning gave the Ducks their short-lived 2-1 lead.

Akron scored three runs in the eighth on right fielder Jordan Smith's two-run single and centerfielder Tyler Naquin's sacrifice fly.

The Ducks got their final run of the night on designated hitter Jake Lowery's RBI double in the ninth.
