LeBron James officially signed his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday. Although the team did not release contract terms due to league policy, the deal is reportedly for two years and worth $42.1 million.

James signed for just two years so he can take full advantage of the NBA's increased salary cap in 2016, which is expected to rise to nearly $80 million. The Cavaliers are confident that James will sign an extension in 2016, and fully believe that he will retire as a Cleveland Cavalier.

James attended Sunday's World Cup championship match in Brazil.
