West downs East in Eastern League All-Star Game behind Moya's grand slam

ALTOONA, Pa. -- Steven Moya blasted a two-out grand slam in the bottom of the fifth inning to break a 1-1 tie and lead the West All-Stars to a 5-2 victory over the East All-Stars in the Eastern League All-Star Game on Wednesday night in Altoona, Pa.

The West had loaded the bases in the fifth on a walk by Alen Hanson, a single by Willy Garcia and another walk by the Akron RubberDucks' Francisco Lindor.

The East took a 1-0 lead in the top of the third, with the West tying the game in the bottom of the inning on Michael A. Taylor's two-out RBI single.

Lindor finished the night 0-for-2 with a walk, strikeout and run scored.

Meanwhile, Akron pitcher Shawn Armstrong hurled one inning, allowing one run (earned) on two hits, no walks and one strikeout.

Joe Colon, the other RubberDucks representative on the West All-Stars, did not play.
