AKRON -- A three-run seventh inning propelled the Bowie Baysox to a 5-1 win over the Akron RubberDucks on Tuesday night at Canal Park.

Bowie (56-54) took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second, but the Ducks (59-52) responded in the bottom of the inning on Justin Toole's two-out RBI single that plated Ronny Rodriguez to tie the game.

Bowie regained the lead with a run in the sixth before putting up a three-spot in the seventh to seal the victory.

Akron actually out-hit Bowie 7-5, with Adam Abraham and Rodriguez leading the way with two hits apiece.

Starter Toru Murata (5-4) pitched six innings in taking the loss, giving up two runs (both earned) on three hits, three walks and three strikeouts.
