I hope you've all recovered from your New Year's Eve celebrations, because there's always more partying to do. With 2012 behind us, let's take a look at what the first weekend of 2013 has in store.
Headlining Water Street Tavern's first Friday music night of the year is the Frankie Starr Band. This Cleveland-based blues/rock power trio takes the stage at 7 p.m. Friday at 132 S. Water St.
Guitarist/vocalist Frankie Starr is joined by bassist/vocalist Bob Stokes and drummer Wayne Altman.
If one blues music trio in one night isn't enough for you, head around the corner for the Bob Niederritter Trio at the Stone Tavern at 110 E. Main St., playing from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday.
Niederritter (guitar) rounds out his trio with Brett Burelson on guitar and Marty Block on bass.
